NEW MEXICO RAINFOREST EDA UNIVERSITY CENTER FALL SEMINAR SERIES

STC.UNM and the Innovation Academy are hosting their fall 2019 University Center Seminar series. The New Mexico Rainforest University Center provides entrepreneurial training and technical assistance at the University of New Mexico main- and branch-campus center sites. The seminars are free and open to the UNM community and the public via in-person or web access, but registration is required. A certificate program in entrepreneurial capabilities is available to UNM students and community members thru UNM’s Innovation Academy. If interested in the certificate program as part of the seminar series, please contact Cecilia Pacheco at cpacheco@stc.unm.edu.

Topic: How to Write, Practice, and Record Your Pitch

Professor Bill Szaroletta will give you tips, tricks, and tools on how to write, practice, and record a pitch.

This seminar will help with your application for the upcoming pitch competitions:

Rainforest Pitch Competition (over $5,000 in cash prizes!) – deadline to apply: October 21, 11:59pm

About Bill

ECHO Institute’s Chief Innovation Officer, founder of Adaptive Chaos Consulting, experience as Board of Director member for New Mexico Health Information Collaborative and Telehealth Alliance, instructor for three UNM Innovation Academy courses on innovation, product design, and E-Commerce, and technical/business mentor to several technical start-ups.

Bill brings deep experience as a design engineer, engineering manager, professor, data scientist, technologist, board member, board officer, consultant, and voice-over talent. He was awarded ECHO’s Employee of the Year for Innovation/Learning for 2018 and 2019 through his ability to innovate in environments that contain uncertainty, knowledge gaps, ambiguity, and complexity. A Myers-Brirggs ENTP, he contributes in a manner that is collaborative, resourceful, ethical, creative, relentless, cost-conscious, motivating and fun. Bill is a positive change agent with specialties in innovative processes, user-centered design, and collaborative development processes evidenced by 15 US patents, registration as a Professional Engineer, awarded undergraduate engineering degree from Michigan and awarded graduate degrees from both Stanford and Georgia, and participating in successfully launching many products and services.
