First Session is an orientation of sorts where we will introduce you to SCORE, what they do, and what you can expect from the organization. It also serves as an opportunity for SCORE to help you clarify your thoughts, ideas, issues, etc. before assigning you to your specific mentor.

You will learn about the assistance and resources available to you at SCORE Albuquerque. By the time you leave you will know why you are going into business, you will understand the nature of your capital, and you will understand the advantages of preparing a business plan. Both accounting and marketing concepts and their relationship to one another are discussed during this session.

This workshop is a valuable resource for those seriously interested in working with SCORE.
