New Mexico Rainforest Spring Webinar Series – Supplemental Learning for the Create.Sell.Bank! Community

UNM Rainforest Innovations (UNMRI) and the Innovation Academy are hosting their spring 2021 Seminar series to help provide entrepreneurial training to New Mexicans looking to start a new business or revamp an old one.

The New Mexico Rainforest provides entrepreneurial training and technical assistance at the University of New Mexico to students and community members. The virtual seminars are free and open to the UNM community and the public via web access, but registration is required.

The NM Rainforest Webinar Series is also available as a supplement to those completing the Create.Sell.Bank! for the Community Online Course thru UNM’s Innovation Academy. If interested in learning more about this couse please reach out to Morgan Parker at mlparker3@unm.edu

Speaker Bio:

Mr. Sacco teaches entrepreneurial studies at the UNM Anderson School of Management for the past eighteen years, serves as the Director of the UNM Small Business Institute and the faculty advisor for the UNM student entrepreneur clubs. The Small Business Institute connects small businesses and other community organizations to MBA student teams to perform consulting work and marketing research.

Stacy has over 30 years’ experience in marketing management with Avco Financial Services, Hyundai Finance, Transamerica Insurance, and locally, the Greater Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, Kirtland Federal Credit Union and WESST Enterprise Center. Outside of his work at UNM, Stacy publishes a monthly email to 4,500+ subscribers including hundreds of marketing and tech jobs, and the Albuquerque Entrepreneurial Ecosystem list, and he hosts the annual NM MARCOM Mixer that attracts 350-500 members of the top 20 marketing and tech-industry professional associations statewide.

About the New Mexico Rainforest and the Create.Sell.Bank! Community Course

The Create.Sell.Bank! for the Community Online Course is funded by a CARES Act grant to provide entrepreneurial training and technical assistance to individuals or small businesses who are looking to start new or revamp their old business after the effects for the COVID-19 pandemic. The platform for the training is focused on e-commerce, designed to assist any business with its digital presence.
